On December 2nd – 3rd, the entire VMGE group participated in the Annual Meeting of Korean Association of Genome Editing (KAGE), held in IBS Science Culture Center, Daejeon, where each member presented their related research in a poster session.

Sooyeon Choi received the Excellent Poster Award at the 2025 International Conference of the Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology (KSMCB), held at the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC Jeju) from September 29 to October 2, 2025.

Graduate Students Selected for the “Research Encouragement Program for Science and Engineering Master’s Students”

지난 9월 1일 이유라, 이제노, 최수연 통합과정 학생이 교육부에서 주관하는 ‘이공분야 석사과정생연구장려금지원’ 사업에 선정되었습니다. 이번 과제에 선정된 학생들은 2025년 9월부터 2026년 8월까지 총 1년간 1,200만원의 연구비를 지원받게 됩니다.

Graduate students Yura Lee, Jenoh Lee, and Sooyeon Choi from the integrated master’s and doctoral program have been selected for the Research Encouragement Program for Science and Engineering Master’s Students organized by the Ministry of Education.
Through this program, each selected student will receive 12 million KRW in research funding over one year, from September 2025 to August 2026.

Retreat for Graduate Students with Department of Life Sciences, POSTECH

지난 8월 21일 – 22일 총 이틀동안 강릉 일대에서 생명과학과 대학원생 Retreat 행사가 있었습니다. 랩 인원 모두가 참여하여 아름다운 여름의 강릉을 즐기고, 충전의 시간을 가질 수 있었습니다.

For a total of two days from August 21st to 22nd, there was a Retreat event for graduate students in the Department of Life Sciences in Gangneung. All of the rappers participated; We could enjoy Gangneung in a beautiful summer and have time to recharge.
